| SIR provides a registration and certification service using what we describe as the world's first Intellectual Property (IP) Code. The code enables information such as technical inventions, cultural inventions, symbols and know-how—the sources of profits and brand value used in businesses and products—to be identified and registered. This makes integrated protection and utilization of intellectual property, including non-filing-based IP, available at comparatively low cost. Products using registered intellectual property can be searched by IP Code (QR code) or product code (barcode). |
